The Rainbow Chicken Issue
Rainbow chickens are haraam.
The chickens are haraam because of the various haraam actions in their methods throughout their slaughtering process.
Despite Sanha proclaiming it halaal.
Sanha has constantly declared as well as produced propaganda stating that the chickens distributed from Rainbow chicken are halaal-Yet- Slaughterers from the very same plants have gone to the Kwazulu Natal Jamiat and Majlisul Ulama and testified to the brutality and the hurmat (haraamness) of these chickens. It is physically not possible to read the Tasmiah on every chicken, many chickens are not fully slaughtered i.e. a mere incision is made owing to speed at which it passes a slaughterer, prior to slaughter the heads of the chickens are passed through an electrified 5m trough of water which kills some, while others drown by the time they reach the slaughterer, then finally the chicken with its dirty entrails intact are dunked in a scalding tank which cooks the najaasat/filth into the flesh . These are the salient features of the current system which renders these chickens Haraam.
How can Muslims, who are supposed to preserve and cherish their Imaan consume haraam? Haraam is what Allah Ta'aala has told us to STAY AWAY from, so why do we try and find every excuse or one small good in a product that is doubtful if not haraam, so that we can eat it? We should do our best to keep away from from products that are doubtful and not even bother with things that are proclaimed haraam.
