SANHA’S CONTRADICTIONS –
DOES HARAAM AND HALAAL MIX?

In its latest ‘flash news’ – Dining Where Alcohol is Served, SANHA, the leading carrion purveyor
in the haraam broiler-chicken industry, very surprisingly says:
“However, it is unfortunate and an indictment on the community, that with the current lifestyle
trends a degree of compromise and complacency has crept in whereby Muslims no longer shun
outlets serving alcohol. Patronage of these outlets and in particular seafood restaurants and coffee
shops is not viewed as a transgression since it is rationalized that no alcohol is used in food
preparation.
This is in flagrant violation of the Shariah (Islamic Law) position described below: Hazrat
Umar (radhiallaahu anhu) narrated that he heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be on him) saying,
‘Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day must not sit at a table at which khamr is consumed.”
It is also reported that the rightly-guided Caliph Umar ibn Abdul Aziz used to flog not only
those who drank but those who sat with them as well, even if they were not themselves drinking.”
Absolutely surprising to the point of absurdity in relation to a Carrion dealer of Sanha’s stature.
The very ‘rationalization’ which SANHA has criticized, and which made ‘halaal’ the ‘end product’
(the halaal food of the restaurants), is employed by SANHA to render ‘halaal’ the haraam carrion
chickens of Rainbow and Early Bird, etc. While the aforegoing statements of SANHA are normal
and logical if proffered by an orthodox ‘extremist’ entity such as The Majlis, it is totally unexpected
of a deviated modernist body such as SANHA who has halaalized chicken carrion, the haraam
broiler industry (i.e. even the live chickens which are also Haraam), and almost every kind of meat
under kuffaar supervision.
In the light of SANHA’S logic and the logic of the 13 Moron Molvi inspectors of SANHA who
have halaalized Rainbow chicken carrion, the claim that eating halaal fish and other halaal food is
not permissible on account of the alcohol which the restaurants serve, is irrational and illogic. Why
should the fish, coffee and bread be ‘haraam’ or why should a person not consume such halaal food
at a restaurant? Is the prohibition based on the liquor served by the restaurants? If SANHA’S
response is: ‘Yes’, then it will be countered in terms of their own logic: The ‘end product’ (i.e. the
fish, coffee and salad, etc.) is halaal. The glutton devouring food in the restaurant is not drinking
alcohol. He devours the ‘end product’ which is halaal in the same way as the ‘end product’ in
Rainbow carrion factory is ‘halaal’.
If the ‘end product’ in the restaurant is not permissible to devour merely because of the haraam
factor of alcohol existing on the same premises, then let the morons and devils of SANHA & Molvi
Co. open up their carrion-clogged brains and eyes and understand that while the prohibition to eat in
the restaurant is based on only one haraam factor, viz., the presence of liquor, the hurmat of
devouring Rainbow chickens is based on multiple factors of the gravest intensity. When viewing
the notoriety, abominability and gravity of the haraam malpractices culminating in the ‘end
product’, viz., the carrion chicken, the hurmat of abstention from eating in the restaurant pales into
oblivion. The horrendous factors of Hurmat in the kuffaar haraam slaughtering system consists of a
conglomeration of very serious acts of cruelty perpetrated on chickens which have souls.
Assuming that dead chickens are not being slaughtered and assuming that Tasmiyah is recited on
every chickens, the only conclusion would be that the ‘end product’ is halaal. Notwithstanding the
hillat of the ‘end product’ (the dead, rotten, diseased chickens), halaalizing the haraam slaughtering
system and the haraam Rainbow plant, and encouraging Muslims to buy and devour chickens
which are the end products of a haraam system are more haraam than eating the perfectly halaal
‘end product’ (the fish, coffee and salad) of a restaurant which sells alcohol.
If eating halaal food in a restaurant is haraam only on the basis of one haraam factor (alcohol
being served), then to an infinitely greater degree will be the prohibition on buying and eating
chickens of a killing-factory where the ‘end products’ are acquired after a range of horrendously
haraam acts in every stage of the killing process. Now compare the haraam factors of Rainbow
Chickens with the one haraam factor of Mr. Seafood Restaurant, and make an intelligent decision in
the light of the principles, teachings and spirit of the Shariah.
THE HARAAM FACTORS OF RAINBOW CHICKEN-KILLING FACTORY
• Cruel upside down shackling of the birds
• Moving the birds at tremendous speeds (180 per minute) whilst they are shackled upside
down, screaming and flapping.
• Their bodies banging against metal enroute to the torture electrical water trough.
• Wings breaking and skin tearing along this perilous journey
• Heads totally submerged (i.e. drowning them) in electrified water thereby administering
horrendous electrical shocks to these defenceless creatures of Allah Ta’ala
• Slaughtered upside down in motion, turned away from the Qiblah
• Immersion into scalding water of the slaughtered chickens while there is still life in them.
THE HARAAM FACTOR OF THE RESTAURANT
In the restaurant the basis for the prohibition of eating the halaal food is only one factor, that is,
alcohol is served on the premises.
Despite the seven very grave factors of hurmat listed above, SANHA finds no qualms in
halaalizing Rainbow chickens and encouraging Muslims to devour the carrion. But, it finds it
logical to advise Muslims to refrain from eating halaal food from restaurants only on the basis of
alcohol being served on the premises. If this latest ‘flash news’ advice has not been occasioned by
a change of heart or by the hearts becoming tenderized, then the only motive for the advice is some
ulterior money motive.
We believe that SANHA’S citation of Hadhrat Umar’s Hadith to substantiate its view regarding
eating in wine-serving restaurants is hypocritical. The very same Hadhrat Umar (radhiyallahu anhu)
was exceptionally stern on the issue of cruelty to animals. Once, even before even admonishing, he
whipped a man who was sharpening his knife in the presence of a goat which he had laid down for
slaughtering. There are many Ahaadith of Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) prohibiting
cruelty to animals and affirming the immense thawaab for kindness to animals, especially when
slaughtering them. But SANHA and its Moron Molvis ignore and even reject all these authentic
Ahaadith for the sake of halaalizing Rainbow’s carrion, diseased chickens.

Apart from the factors of hurmat mentioned above, the one vital factor of hurmat of
fundamental importance which renders all the chickens haraam, is the almost total discardence of
Tasmiyah. The evidence to prove the mass discardence of Tasmiyah is overwhelmingly conclusive.
(Hurmat – being haraam)
Aggravating the hurmat is the factor of dead birds also being slaughtered due to the fact that
the slaughtermen are not always able to distinguish between dead birds and electrically stunned
birds. Compounding the aggravated hurmat of Rainbow’s haraam carrion, is the act of immersing
all the birds into scalding water with their entrails enclosed within their carcases. Thus, Rainbow
carrion chickens are the products of haraam compounded by haraam – it is haraam piled on haraam.
There does not exist the slightest vestige of doubt in the hurmat of Rainbow Chickens. Those
who aver that the chickens are ‘doubtful’ are either totally ignorant of what transpires in the killing
factory or they deliberately distort the Haqq. Their nafsaani agenda is known to them. SANHA
should now come to its senses, and label Rainbow carrion chickens Haraam just as it is claiming
eating halaal food at restaurants serving liquor is haraam.
It is pertinent to ask: How does SANHA reconcile its participation in the SundayTimes food
display show with its fatwa of impermissibility to consume halaal fish and bread at a restaurant on
the basis of the presence of alcohol on the premises? Is the applicability of Sanha’s ‘fatwa’
restricted to alcohol-serving outlets which fortuitously are not holders of its ‘halaal’ certificates?
And is this ‘fatwa’ abrogated to provide permissibility for SANHA’S participation in a ‘glorified’
Sunday Times-Pick n’ Pay haraam food festival which, in addition to alcohol, caters for pork,
music, zina and haraam food in general?
How peculiar is the application of Sanha’s ‘fatwa’? It applies to a restaurant serving seafood
where Muslims consume only coffee, fish, bread and salad – all perfectly halaal. However, the
alcohol on the premises renders presence on the premises to consume halaal food impermissible.
This is Sanha’s fatwa’. The bone of contention is not the correctness of the fatwa. The focus is on
SANHA’S dubiosity, hypocrisy and money motives which have produced the incongruity of
irreconcialibity. While the restaurant with its one haraam factor comes within the glare of
SANHA’S ‘fatwa’, an event such as the joint Sunday Times-Pick n’ Pay food display festival
accompanied by multiple acts of major sins (liquor, pork, music, zina, intermingling of sexes, winetasting
ceremony, haraam photography, and haraam food in general), is not only exempted from the
‘fatwa’, but is glorified, promoted and lauded as an occasion on par with ‘The Day of Arafaat’ –
Nauthubillaah! May SANHA roast in the tons and mountains of haraam rotten, diseased carrionchickens,
pork, liquor and zina it has halaalized and which it is halaalizing.
Not so long ago, SANHA had participated and encouraged participation in the aforementioned
haraam Sunday Times-Pick ‘n’ Pay haraam food festival. It squandered many thousands of rands to
set up its haraam stall at the haraam food display. Haraam money goes down the drain in haraam
ways. But today SANHA says that Muslims should not devour halaal food at a restaurant which
serves liquor. We must question SANHA’S motives for this tremendous incongruity, conflict and
self-contradiction. The only way that SANHA could be removed from the gibbet on which it is
being crucified and pardoned is by cultivation of sincerity (Ikhlaas). If SANHA could understand
the imperative importance of Ikhlaas, then its front-saff members will discern the need to offer
Taubah for their haraam participation in the haraam Sunday Times event. All criticism will then
recede into oblivion, and so will the incongruities. As long as SANHA refuses to publicly announce
its grave error of having participated in the Sunday Times event of liquor, pork, haraam food, music
and zina, the inevitable conclusion which all intelligent Muslims will draw will be that the
motivation for its latest ‘flash-news fatwa’ is corrupt – pecuniary, hypocritical, skulduggery and a
dastardly endeavour to mislead Muslims in a futile bid to recapture some of its credibility which
has been torn to shreds in the haraam carrion-chicken saga.

Our reading of SANHA’S motive for the ‘fatwa’ is that the purpose is nothing but a desperate
exercise of damage control. Let SANHA be assured that any measure based on insincerity and
hypocrisy will not stem its slide towards its own doom which it has carved out with its own hands.
Trifling with the Shariah is dangerous. Hadhrat Junaid Baghdaadi (rahmatullah alayh) said:
“Wheover searches for honour with baatil, Allah will impose disgrace on him by means of the
Haqq”. And, for SANHA, its Moron Molvi Traitors, and all of similar ilk, The Majlis in this era is
that Haqq with which Allah Ta’ala smashes out the brains of baatil. Thus, the Qur’aan Majeed
declaring this reality sates:
“In fact We fling the Haqq against baatil. It (Haqq) thus smashes out the brains of baatil,
Then suddenly it (baatil) recedes into oblivion.”
SANHA and all the one cent treacherous ulama-e-soo’ should heed the Warning of the
Qur’aan and Hadith. Your ‘fatwa’ will have credibility only if you announce the error of your
participation in the haraam Sunday Times-Pick ‘n’ Pay liquor, pork, haraam food, music and zina
food display and festival. What is your fatwa regarding your presence at the wine-tasting
ceremony? Did any of your members participate in the wine-tating? It is a remote assumption that
they did. You must have issued the ‘fatwa’ while you were suffering from a terrible carrionchicken
hangover – or you must be still ‘babbelaas’ from all the liquor, pork and zina in which you
miserable ‘religious’ louts had indulged in at the Sunday Times-Pick ‘n Pay haraam food show.
The way forward for you is only Taubah and reversion to Siraatul Mustaqeem from which your
inordinate craving for money has driven you and your molvis into shaitaan’s embrace. May Allah
Ta’ala guide us all and save us from the evil lurking in our nafs and from the subtle snares of Iblees
La-een.

THE FATWA – LEST YOU MISUNDERSTAND

Lest Muslims misunderstand the purport of our criticism, it is best that we clarify the Fatwa
with regard to eating at restaurants which serve alcohol in addition to halaal food. Even if
a non-Muslim restaurant does not serve liquor and haraam food, it is not permissible for
Muslims to venture for meals into such places. This prohibition applies to males as well. As
to females, the prohibition is emphasised manifold.
Even if the restaurant is owned by a pious Muslim, it remains haraam for Muslim
females even if accompanied by their mahram males and even if they are fully covered with
hijaab dress, to cast aside their hayaa and in violation of the Qur’aanic prohibition leave
their home precincts to eat in a public restaurant. This prohibition will apply even if a
separate room is made available for the ladies in the restaurant.
Western indoctrination and influence, and the satanic misinterpretations of the
Shariah’s laws by the ulama-e-soo’ as well as by sincere, but shallow-minded and shortsighted
Ulama, make this immutable Fatwa of the Shariah extremely unpalatable and
peculiar. We acknowledge that we are living in an age about which Rasulullah (sallallahu
alayhi wasallam) said: “Islam began forlorn (no helpers and no sympathisers). Soon will it
return to its initial forlorn state. Therefore, congratulations for the Forlorn Ones.” In the
context of this Hadith ‘the forlorn ones’, are the People of Haqq who stand up for the Haqq
and who practise the Haqq, and who care not a jot for the criticism of the detractors,
insulters and Ahl-e-Baatil.
